Knee PRP, wild terrible experience. About 10 months now, nerves still shot up through thigh, too many shots. OVERCHARGED. I had PRP with top surgeon in Ft Myers $1,200. I went to this Dr, due to cool Utube vids. Written total amount $1,530. Most exp around, you can get PRP knee shot for $700. This company charged my insurance too and got a total of $2,768. Billing Dpt in another state, it was challenging to get office mng who stated “Why did you give your insurance card.” Never had PT with them, The PT gave me paperwork in her office for exercise, it was a 5 minute appt, she was leaving for the day. Also they said ultrasound was charged to insurance, it was, they paid. That was definitely spoken about in the quote with my husband in room to the DO, Mr. Sebastian, that was the final price for all $1,530. I’m blessed that this is not about $$$, just principle, be careful. They over charged me personally $110., she could have sent this to me, lucky for you all, she didn’t. Go to a real surgeon office, get ONLY 1 shot for knee PRP, don’t get all the 10 whatever shots this dr does, deep dive this. Top Surgeon in Ft Myers, w/ 1 shot I didn’t need medicine for the shot or nitric oxide, it was a quick in & out, may have numbed w/ cold, it was quick, no aftermath from many many shots. Im very fortunate to met the Doctor Sebastian when he came to Margaritaville Cancun riviera Maya. He treated my knee after two surgeries in my right knee without result. I had a 3 year old major herniation in my L4-L5 and medium herniation in my L5-S1 discs. I tried everything - physio, chiro, decompression, but it seemed like everyone just wanted me to keep coming back and I constantly kept getting reinjured and honestly a bit fatigued. I was finally contemplating surgery because I was not able to carry out daily life. I finally found Dr. Sebastian on youtube and reached out. He was great in the initial virtual consult. Then I flew in from Canada and went for an ozone injection in both discs. That helped. A few months later I went in for discseel with exosomes, and I feel like a new person. Each time they also included the PRP along the facet joints which I am sure will have their own benefits. I stayed on top of my rehab and workouts, especially walking everyday.
